Barolo, Piemonte is G.D. Vajra's home turf and birthplace of their world-renowned wines. Lesser known is their Brandy – an extremely small-scale destillation done in bain-marie, a discontinuous alembic still.
Intended for close friends and their friends, each of the only 700 pharmacy-style bottles feature a detailed one-color design. Due to an unexpected turn of events – namely Covid-19 – the labeled 24 months of barrel aging has evolved into an exceptional 60 months, which truly qualify it as a genuine stravecchio.
